Domestic Violence
My office is equally comfortable representing the complaining party or the victim of domestic violence. Regardless of which party, I represent I have the ability and trial skills to give you a better chance of removing an individual from your house or keeping you in the house. Many parties to these actions "go at it on their own" which later turns out to be a mistake. Before you make that decision, call my office for a free telephone consultation. Final restraining orders are mostly permanent in nature and if you find yourself on the other end of one, you will have to find another place to live and may be required to support the household. If you are the complaining party, you do not want to present you case to a judge without legal representation.
Juvenile
Since the juvenile system of justice is designed to foster rehabilitation, most complaints are resolved by a juvenile being sentenced to probation or a deferred disposition. Although usually not incarcerated before or after the case is resolved, the experience of being charged with a crime is still traumatic for a child and the parents involved. When I first started doing Pool work for the Public Defender's office, I handled hundred of juvenile cases in Monmouth County. This experience has enabled me to counsel clients to a high degree of accuracy concerning the likely outcome, whether a plea is accepted or the case goes to trial. What I can do for you is minimize the uncertainty involved in this very complicated process.
I am often available for a last minute representation and consultation.
