Filing a Chapter 7 as an individual or for a business involves an initial analaysis to determine whether the individual, couple or business qualifies for a bankruptcy. I will be able to guide you through this process by reviewing your income and assets. If you do qualify, you will be required to provide the Court with a “snapshot” of your financial picture. This means organizing your assets and liabilities in a way that I can prepare your petition to be filed with the Court.

It may turn out that bankruptcy is not in your best interest or you may not qualify for it. Alternatives may include debt counseling, loan modification, litigation, negotiation or a simple winding down, if you are a business owner.
